about eddington

Located approximately 150Km north-west of Melbourne, Eddington is a small rural hamlet nestled on the Loddon river.
Like many other small towns situated alongside highways, the best part is usually hidden and the old saying  “if you blink you will miss it” describes Eddington  perfectly.

If you drive along the highway from Bendigo to Maryborough,  you will cross the Loddon river via a rather large bridge.

Just before that bridge if you glance left, there is a well-cared-for cemetery with a guardian angel overlooking  the river, where Uncle Charlie and all our pioneers take their rest.

You may notice the entrance to a chaff mill, an interesting-looking coffee shop, and an engineering business, then the road sweeps around to the left, and off you go to Maryborough.

Eddington forgotten.
BUT if you turned right down McCoy street……………….look in our gallery!!
